I'm Victoria, a dedicated Russian language teacher with over six years of experience in online education. I hold a Master’s Degree in Teaching Russian as a Foreign Language from the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute in Moscow. COURSE CONTENT
The course is designed for English speakers.
Because English and Russian are very different languages, I explain things in English for most of the course so that you can understand the main concepts more easily, and the transition to Russian is smoother and easier to understand.

No previous knowledge of the language is required.

The beginner's course is designed for those who are starting from scratch, which is why it starts from the absolute basics. However, the course is also perfect for advanced beginners, as the difficulty of the lessons will gradually increase.

BASIC EXPRESSIONS
AND GRAMMAR
Get introduced to common Russian greetings and basic pronouns like “ты” and “вы,” used in different social contexts. You’ll also dive into fundamental grammatical structures that build a foundation for more advanced topics.
DAILY LIFE EXPRESSIONS
Gain practical skills for daily situations: learn to ask for names, ages, and time, introduce yourself, express gratitude, and apologize. You'll also be able to order food, ask for prices, and navigate daily conversations, enhancing your experience in Russian-speaking environments.
NUMBERS, ALPHABET AND TONES
Master the Russian Cyrillic alphabet, numbers, and key pronunciation rules. Proper pronunciation is crucial for understanding and being understood in conversations. This module will solidify your ability to pronounce words correctly, making it easier to engage in Russian dialogue.
VOCABULARY
Expand your Russian vocabulary with lessons on essential topics like colors, animals, food, days of the week, and more. Through listening and practical exercises, you'll steadily build the skills to understand and participate in basic Russian conversations.
